1. About these terms
These Terms of Use apply to copierrep.me, the website for Leah Forbes, Sharp Associate at Platinum Copier Solutions, including its contact questionnaire, Pia assistant, and client portal. By using the site, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
The site is intended for business inquiries about Sharp equipment, leasing, managed print, supplies, and related services. If you act for a business, you are responsible for having authority to submit information and requests on its behalf.
2. Quotes and separate agreements
Website content, chat responses, and contact submissions are informational. They do not create a purchase, lease, financing, service contract, or guarantee of savings. Sending an inquiry does not obligate you or Platinum to enter into a transaction.
Equipment availability, pricing, taxes, delivery, installation, service coverage, supplies, financing approval, and lease terms must be confirmed in the applicable written proposal or agreement. Any proposal expiration is governed by the proposal itself. An executed agreement controls the transaction if it conflicts with general website information or these website terms.
Lease buyouts, early upgrades, returns, and renewal options depend on your existing contract and any financing company’s requirements. Nothing on this site cancels or modifies an agreement with another provider. Obtain legal or financial advice when needed.
3. Pia’s role and limitations
Pia is an AI assistant that provides general information and helps collect inquiries. It can make mistakes, omit details, or provide outdated information. Its replies are not binding offers, professional legal or financial advice, or confirmation that an order or service appointment has been accepted.
Verify important details with Leah before acting. Do not rely on Pia to calculate a contractual deadline or determine whether a lease can be terminated. Do not share passwords, payment details, patient records, or other sensitive information in chat.
4. Accounts and client portal
Provide accurate sign-in and business information, keep your credentials secure, and use only accounts and records you are authorized to access. Portal access may associate your verified email with an existing client profile. Tell Leah if information appears incorrect or you see records that do not belong to you.
Portal quotes, lease information, and renewal dates are reference records and may not reflect the latest signed documents or changes. Your actual agreement governs payment obligations, notice requirements, renewal, and termination.
A supply re-order submission is a request for review and follow-up, not a guarantee of acceptance, inventory, shipment, price, or delivery date. Contact Leah to confirm fulfillment and report urgent issues; the portal is not an emergency service channel.
5. Acceptable use
Use the website lawfully and in a way that respects other users and the services supporting it. You must not:
- Impersonate another person, misrepresent your business, or submit information you lack authority to share.
- Attempt to access another client’s records, bypass sign-in or access controls, or obtain private information.
- Upload or submit malicious code, spam, unlawful material, or content that infringes others’ rights.
- Disrupt the website, abuse automated requests, or attempt to manipulate Pia into disclosing confidential information.
- Copy or reuse protected website material for commercial purposes without permission, except as permitted by law.
Access may be restricted or suspended where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks, or legal requirements.
6. Your submissions and communications
You remain responsible for the accuracy and lawful use of the information you submit. You authorize the site and its service providers to process it as needed to respond to you, maintain client records, and provide the requested features, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
Submitting an inquiry allows Leah to respond using the contact information you provide. The site may send inquiry confirmations and service-related messages. This does not require you to agree to unrelated marketing. Ask Leah if you wish to stop nonessential follow-up.
Use a separate, agreed method for sharing confidential documents. Do not submit personal information about others unless you have appropriate authority.
7. Website content and third-party services
Website text, design, graphics, and other materials belong to their respective owners and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Platinum Copier Solutions and Sharp names and marks remain the property of their respective owners. Using the site does not transfer ownership of those materials or authorize use of their trademarks.
You may view the website and share links for legitimate business purposes. External links, authentication providers, AI services, and other third-party features are subject to their own terms. Their availability and operation are not guaranteed by this website.
8. Availability and disclaimers
The website and its informational features are provided “as is” and “as available,” to the extent permitted by law. No guarantee is made that all information is complete, error-free, current, or that the website will always be available. Features may be changed or interrupted for maintenance, security, or other operational reasons.
To the extent permitted by law, implied warranties relating to the website, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, are disclaimed. This does not replace or reduce express obligations or warranties in a separate signed equipment or service agreement, or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Limits on website-related liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Platinum Copier Solutions and its representatives are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from website use, inability to access the site, or reliance on general website or AI-generated information, including lost profits, business interruption, or lost data.
These limits apply only to the extent legally enforceable. They do not exclude liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, or alter obligations under a separate signed agreement. If applicable law does not allow a limitation stated here, that limitation applies only to the extent allowed.
10. Governing law and general provisions
These website terms are governed by the laws of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise. This provision does not override governing-law provisions in a separate signed transaction agreement or mandatory rights under applicable law.
If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective to the extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision on one occasion is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later. These terms address website use only.
11. Changes and contact
These terms may be revised as the website changes. Updates will appear here with a revised date and apply prospectively to use after they take effect, subject to any notice or consent required by law. Changes to these website terms do not amend an existing signed agreement.
